Postal service scam

With Christmas fast approaching, Royal Mail and Trading Standards are raising awareness of a scam where a card is posted through doors from Parcel Delivery Service (PDS).

The card suggests that the company was unable to deliver a parcel and that the recipient should contact PDS on 090 6661 1911. This is a premium rate number and if dialled, could result in an immediate cost of £315.
The phone number on the card should not be called in any circumstance. Royal Mail Fraud should be contacted on 020 7239 6655.
