The tender process to secure contractors to complete resurfacing and ancillary works at Andover Athletics Track and Romsey and Abbey Tennis Courts, has now been successfully completed.

Contracts will be awarded to Polytan Sports Surfaces (UK) Ltd to undertake the track works and Trevor May Contractors Ltd to undertake work to the tennis courts at Romsey Sports Centre.

The Andover Athletics Track works will enable it to reinstate its UKA competition status. The tennis court improvements are to Lawn Tennis Association standards.

Ongoing liaison continues with affected clubs and their members.

Works are due to commence in September 2013 for both contracts.
