The Red Tape Task Force was established by the Minister of Civil Society, Nick Hurd, to consider how to cut red tape for small charities, voluntary organisations and social enterprises (collectively known as CSO’s). Its focus has been to examine what prevents individuals from giving more time and money to CSO’s and what prevents CSO’s from expanding if they want to. This is all set within the context of Localism and the Big Society. Red Tape is killing(excuse the pun) our First Responders in King’s Somborne – I will be asking them to join with me in letting Nick Hurd what has to change.
